Tributes paid as woman found dead at Houghton Festival named as Ibiza DJ SANTANNA OUSH

Friday, August 21, 2026 - Tributes are pouring in for Ibiza DJ and promoter Santanna Oush, whose real name was Santanna Maria Ally, after she was found unconscious inside a tent at Houghton Festival in Norfolk on August 9.

The 38-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts from the festival's medical team. Police have said the circumstances were not being treated as suspicious, while an inquest has been opened into her death.

Ally was a well-known figure in Ibiza's electronic music scene, where she had built a career spanning more than two decades. She performed at major venues including Pikes and Hï Ibiza and founded OuShe, a platform and party series created to champion women and emerging talent in electronic music.

Her sudden death has sent shockwaves through the community, with fellow artists and venues sharing emotional tributes and remembering her energy, generosity and influence.

Houghton Festival organisers have also expressed their condolences, saying their thoughts are with Ally's family and loved ones. A fundraiser has been launched to help with funeral costs and has already drawn significant support, underlining the impact she had on friends, colleagues and fans.

As the investigation continues, tributes are keeping attention firmly on a DJ whose work helped create opportunities for others and whose loss is now being felt across the international dance-music community.
