Have you received any of the following emails? I know by now you know how to distinguish anything fake from genuine. If you have been a careful reader and you are up to date with the current HR practices, this can't get you offguard.


Just as a reminder, the Darubini Jobs we warned about last week are still causing people sleepless nights. Let us tell you authoritatively, they are fake. That is a scam meant to swindle you your hard earned cash. Anyway look at the following emails and stay up to date with the tactics these conmen are using nowadays.

Following your timely job application, we are pleased to inform you that you have been selected to join our company (k.f.f) Kaiser family foundation as DATA-CLERK- Admission number c0516. This is the latest intake.

   We have gone through your CV and we strongly hope that all that is indicated in that CV is readily available (TESTIMONIALS)

 Data clerk will be responsible for typing the data provided to him / her from the hard copy (written materials, files and all the sources including audio materials) to our OPERATING SYSTEMS which is later analyzed by some other senior staff before it is presented to our headquarters as reliable and accurate information.

  The clerk will also be expected to carry out a whole data project assigned to him/her transfer without supervision and do it accurately.  

During the first two months he/her will be under the check of a senior clerk to familiarize him/her self without operating systems and the data entry methods we use.

 The job is based in Nairobi and you should note that this is not a part time job as you are required to be presenting your various projects within the expected time frame

  There are two branches in Nairobi, Parklands and Industrial Area branches.

You will be notified which branch you will be attached to.

  Our salary structure is as follows

      Gross salary……………ksh 29,400

      Less P.A.Y.E(tax)………ksh 4,208  (17 percent )

      N.S.S.F ………………..ksh 300

      AAR (insurance cover)..ksh 210

      Trade union (COTU)...…ksh 120

The net salary pay after all the monthly deductions amounts to KSH 24,962

We also give an extra traveling allowance of ksh4,200 to cater for traveling while at work.

  Note that all our workers are covered by AAR health insurance. Our staffs are required to subscribe to premium life insurance cover because our staffs are exposed to various challenges including traveling to bandits’ prone areas.  Those without that insurance cover will therefore be required to come with Ksh 2,997for the initial subscription fee.

You are also required to have the KRA pin number for the purposes of tax. Other things you will be required to carry,-

Ø  two (2) colored passport size photos,

Ø  Original ID card and its photocopy

Ø  Original result slip/s

Ø  Contract form should be printed out and filled properly.

Our job goes for a contract of five years which is renewable.

We will require you to send us your mobile phone contact and your driving place of residence so that we assign you the branch that is most convenient  and that will  call you and inform you which branch you will be required to report to ( either park-lands or industrial area)

You are also required to down load the contract form, print it out and fill it and come with it on this day, 16th May 2011 (Monday)

Those that are selected will sign their contract on that day.

Make sure that you send us your phone contact through email so that we contact you on that day.

NOTE, only those with all the requirements will be taken i.e, original certificates, K.R.A pin number the A.A.R insurance cover or the subscription fee.
